WEIGHT DIFFERENCES ON JCDS AND AWBS

Due to increased occurrences of weight differences shown on export shipment JCDs and AWBs, we kindly ask you to pay greater attention to the declared weight when filling in these documents. Shipments with a difference will not be accepted for transport unless there has been previous consultation with the customs office and everything has been confirmed.
In cases where there are weight differences, personal consultation with the customs office is necessary.
The customs office does not exclude the possibility of imposing sanctions for such differences. We believe that you will accept these measures, which have been taken in order to avoid any problems between the customs office, the airline and the shipper.

LIVE-ANIMAL SHIPMENTS

We kindly ask all shippers who transport live animals to adhere strictly to IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR), especially when filling the shipper's declaration in English (destination in English, name of animal in English and Latin). Shippers must mark the kind of animal on all labels and stalls and list a 24-hour contact name and number for the person responsible on both the AWB and the stall.

Regarding this issue, we advise our customers to buy IATA's Live Animals Regulations and to take the special course offered by the CSA Training Centre.
More information about the course is available from Ms. Barbora Laznová, phone: +420 2 2011 1426.
The course costs CZK 1 500, including DPH. More information about the LAR Manual is available from: Mr. Petr Èinátl, phone +420 2 2011 6378.
