Ramp Handling Services

Non-stop, all year round, CSA Ramp Handling Services (RHS) ensure complete handling services on the apron for both contracting and non-contracting air carriers and for cargo and special and charter flights at Prague-Ruzyni Airport. We carry out handling for all aircraft types without restriction, from the smallest to the largest. We have highly trained professionals working in a modern, highly sophisticated system with top technical equipment.

The entire handling process is carried our according to a precise scenario and here are the main activities during aircraft handling:

• All activities supervising
• Pre-flight preparation
  Within the framework of its services, CSA ensures pre-flight preparation for pilots, including information about routes and meteorological information.
• Provision and service of ground power units
  Either mobile ground units or units placed directly in the air-bridge are available.
• Loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, mail
  We have technical equipment which enables the loading and unloading of all aircraft types and substrate up to a weight of 14t/pc.
• Baggage sorting
  Is carried out in a modern hall, where baggage goes through rtg-control ensuring maximum flight safety. We use a standard baggage reconciliation process. In case of any suspicion, this baggage undergoes a more detailed check.
• Aircraft cleaning
  Provided by a CSA subsidiary CSA SUPPORT.
• Service of toilet systems
  We will fill the aircraft with the necessary amount of utility and drinking water and will carry out disinfection.
• Aircraft fuelling
  Fuelling is provided by either SHELL or ESSO.
• Provision of movable stairs or air-bridges
  CSA provides the stairs, Airport Prague the air-bridges.
• Provision of air-conditioning units
  We provide not only air-conditioning but also heating.
• Securing aircraft on the tarmac
  We provide chocks and the placement of signal cones.
• Engines start up assistance
  Air Starter unit is at disposal.
• Push-back
  We provide push-back with towing vehicles with a tow-bar, as well as modern vehicles without a tow-bar. We are able to push-back the aircraft up to 400 t.
