Export consignment check-in procedure

Your export consignment will be checked-in in at CSA Cargo - Export. It can be found, together with its adjacent storeroom, at Praha-Ruzyne Airport, about 300 metres to the left of the arrival hall. Shipments are accepted for transportation no later than 180 minutes before the regular departure time of any given flight.
With regards to the operational situation, shipments may be submitted for transport 90 minutes before departure of a flight, provided the maximum weight of a shipment does not exceed 300 kg or 2.5 m3. In such a case a 100% extra charge is added to the regular handling fee.

First, contact the Tariffs department and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We would also like to point out that before the consignment is accepted for air carriage, it is necessary to complete the "Instructions forIssuing an Air Waybill" form, stating in it the address of the consignor, the address (and telephone number, if applicable) of the consignee, the routing requested, data on the payer of the freight charges, the type of goods, and certain other particulars. It would be a pleasure for the CSA Cargo - Tariffs personnel to assist you with completion of the form. The shipment may also be insured against loss or damage through the Tariff department.

After this, we will take your consignment into storage, where we will check its weight and dimensions, and make sure that the integrity of the package has not been tampered with. Where all data stated in the instructions for issuing the air waybill correspond with the reality, we will certify the form, and on this basis, the Tariffs department will issue you the air waybill. The air waybill will contain freight charges and other charges based on the dimensions and weight of the consignment.
Freight charges and other charges may be paid immediately at the CSA Cargo cash desk, which is in the vicinity of the Export department. Then, the certified copy of the air waybill should be returned to the Tariffs department. The consignment is then put in the export storeroom and is ready for delivery.
