- How do I pay for my ticket?
- The booking system supports payment by the following cards: VISA, Eurocard/MasterCard, and American Express.
- How can I collect my ticket?
- Delivery by mail
If you have your ticket delivered by mail, the holder of the card used for payment must be one of the passengers. The first name and surname will be automatically transferred to the mailing address from the information on the card holder. In order to ensure smooth delivery, the system does not allow you to make a reservation later than a certain number of business days before your departure - 5 business days in most countries. - Pick-up at a Czech Airlines office
The card holder need not be one of the passengers, but he has to pick the tickets up in person and present his debit/credit card and his passport (or another identity document). The system will allow you to make a reservation up to one business day before departure. You can pick the ticket up at any time between the dates of booking and departure. - Picking your ticket up at the airport
Each country has a time limit for making a booking before departure. At Prague Airport, the limit is only 4 hours before departure; in most other places, however, the limit is one day. The ticket must be picked up no later than 30 minutes before the last check-in time. Please do not forget that in this case, too, you have to present the card used when the ticket was booked, and an identity document
- What kind of prices are offered through Online Booking?
- Ticket prices are set automatically, based on the data you enter. The lowest applicable price from published special tariffs, including tariffs reserved for Online Booking, will always be selected. The tariffs offered on the Internet are usually more advantageous that those offered by our sales offices. The price offered naturally also depends on how fully the aircraft is booked.
- If you are not offered the lowest tariff, the reason is most probably that seats sold in this tariff have been fully booked. In this case, we recommend changing your departure or arrival date. If you need professional advice, please contact the Czech Airlines Call Centre. A list of the lowest fares for departures from Prague may be found on the "Special Prices" page. The price may be even more advantageous for passengers under 25 years of age, senior citizens, or a group of a minimum of two passengers travelling together. Prices from other destinations may be found on the local websites of Czech Airlines sales offices. If you have any questions, please call us at 800 310 310 or 239 007 007.
- Online Booking is also more advantageous because you pay a lower service fee than when buying a ticket at a sales office or through our Call Centre.
- What types of travel can I book?
- Online Booking offers the following types :
- One way – flying just one segment (e.g.: Prague – Larnaca)
- Round trip – the passenger returns to the point from which he/she departed (e.g.: Prague - New York – Prague)
- Open jaw - the return destination is not the same as the departure point, or the passenger returns from a point different from his/her original destination (e.g.: Prague – London, return: Manchester – Prague, or Prague – London, return: Manchester – Ostrava)
- What documents do I need to collect a ticket?
- When collecting a ticket at a Czech Airlines office or at the airport, you must present the debit/credit card which was used for the booking, and an identity document (preferably, a passport). If a ticket is delivered by post, you may be requested to identify yourself and present the debit/credit card later. All these measures are taken to protect your card from being misused.
- What personal data do I have to enter into the system?
- The system requests the following information:
- About the passenger
First name, surname, and age; frequent flyer programme number (if you are a member), telephone number, and e-mail address - About your card
Card type, number, card holder's name, card holder’s address as provided to the bank that issued the card, expiration date
- What documents will I receive before my travels?
- Your tickets, a receipt confirming payment by a debit/credit card, and your travel itinerary.
- When is a booking confirmed?
- When a booking is successfully made, a page will be displayed with an overview of all of the data, including the booking code – your itinerary, which may then be printed. If you enter your e-mail address into the system, you will also receive an automatic confirmation by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation of your booking after this last step, please contact the nearest Czech Airlines office.
- How can a booking be changed?
- If there is a change initiated by Czech Airlines (change or cancellation of the flight, cancellation of bookings on another carrier's segment, etc.), you will be informed immediately. To inform you, we will use the contact information you have provided when making your booking. Changes initiated by the customer may be made after the ticket is issued, in line with standard procedures.
- What should I to do in the case of the late delivery of a ticket or ticket loss?
- If you do not receive your ticket by the day before your departure, please contact a Czech Airlines office. A duplicate will be issued for you according to the data saved in our database. The original ticket will be marked as invalid in the system.
- What happens to tickets that are not picked up from a Czech Airlines office or at the airport?
- The same refund procedures apply to these uncollected tickets as apply to those tickets which their holders have picked up.
