New maintenance agreement


Air Berlin, one of the major players on the German leisure market and CSA Czech Airlines, national carrier of Czech Republic have signed five years maintenance agreement, under which CSA shall perform series of C-checks on B737-800 and B737-400 a/c operated by Air Berlin starting by June 1, 2002. Air Berlin by this expressed its opinion the quality of CSA maintenance on customers aircraft will satisfy Air Berlin’s high quality requirements.


Transavia airlines, the Nederlands operator, and CSA Czech Airlines, national carrier of Czech Republic, have signed four years maintenance agreement, under which CSA shall perform series of C-checks on B737-NG a/c operated by Transavia airlines starting by October 26, 2003. Transavia airlines joined other Customers of CSA.

Structure Repair

CSA started with heavy structure damage repairs on B737 and ATR aircraft operated by CSA as well as on customer’s aircraft. Excellent metal sheet workers training before winglets modification declare right approach of CSA and allowed CSA used to perform such repairs.

 

Engine On-Wing-Support

CSA and Snecma Services, France, signed an Agreement on July 27 to provide on-wing engine CFM56-3 and -7 maintenance in Prague and third-party customer’s stations.

On-wing support helps keep maintenance costs under control and, by applying new technical solutions, reduces the time aircraft are grounded for maintenance.
