Baby food for the flight
Standard baby food is available on board each aircraft - baby purees, sponge-biscuits, instant cocoa, milk. It is presumed that the pax shall carry the baby bottle which may be warmed up throughout the flight.
A special baby meal - bbml may be ordered at a pax's rqst when making res.

Transportation of infants
Transportation of infants in "c" class on the Czech Airlines flights is allowed.

Service extras
In-flight extras currently available to all children travelling with Czech airlines are:

• special children’s meals
• games packs
• children’s magazines
• puzzle

Sky cots/bassinets
Infants may be accommodated in a basket during the flight. The bearing capacity of the basket is 17 kg and it is equipped with a sleeping set and may be ordered when purchasing a ticket for the infant and while the accompanying adult is making a reservation. Czech Airlines offers a limited number of baskets in accordance with the capacity of the given aircraft - basket reservation.
A cot may be provided at a passenger's request.

For flights operated by airbus: passengers with infant must use seat a,b,g or h, seats c,d,e,f are acceptable for them in row 5 only.

infants: 1inf must be accompanied by pax above 16yrs of age

Certificated carseats may be used for ok flts if complying with:

• 1/ European standard "un ece r44/03" or its later amendments and car seat is identified with label with standard nr
• 2/ standard "us fmvss c.213" and on red label on the car seat are written conditions incl. use for aircraft

Unaccompanied minors
New conditions for umnr valid fro reservations done from 01jun05:
Czech Airlines accepts umnr for carriage under following conditions:

• ssr umnr must be always requested
• children 5-11yrs odl must travel as umnr always if not accompanied on same flt, in same class of travel by a person above 15yrs - or - by a person (sibling or another person) who reached 12yrs

If written request for such a acceptance received from parents request.

• passengers from 12 to 17 years of age (incl.) may travel alone as ums only upon their parents request.
• the child is in possession of all travel documents (passport, visa, health certificate) required by countries of exit/transit/destination
• the parents or responsible adult person have to accompany the child to the airport of departure
• the parents or responsible adult person have to await the child at the airport of destination

Procedure:

• an unaccompanied minor form has to be completed and signed at the time of reservation
• if transportation of um involves the carriage over the lines of other carrier(s) than Czech Airlines, the child may be accepted for carriage only after previous consent of all carriers concerned. the condition for acceptance may differ from those given above. in interline carriage, at least one copy of the form mentioned above, will be supplied to the other carrier(s) at the interline point(s).
• the request for transportation is submitted to Czech Airlines reservation system well in advance, giving the age of minor, date, flight and sector to be travelled;
• additional charges to fare for umnrs:
• umnr 05-14yrs: no additional charge
• umnr 15-17yrs: charged by 25eur or 40eur(long haul) per segment
  fare=if ok tariff applied:
  all umnr (5-17yrs) pay the 100% applicable adult fare !!! zz fare is not allowed for umnr !!!
  =if IATA or another carrier tariff applied, for children 5-11 years old, applicable fare according to child discount of that tariff
  
• fares for umnr 15 - 17 years old:
  passengers from 15 to 17 years of age (incl.) on the day of commencement of travel, may travel as ums only upon their parents request before the actual commencement of travel and pay 100% of applicable adult fare and an additional charge as follows:
• additional charge for umnr 15-17 years old:
  25eur per segment for short and medium haul flights
  40eur per segment for long jaul flights for the um service on flights operated by Czech Airlines only. (long haul flts are between prg and jfk,ewr,cmb,mle,yul,yyz,dxb and kwi) if another carrier is involved in the carriage of a um, the charge is collected as per the segments operated by Czech Airlines only and in case of issuing Czech Airlines ticket only. a single coupon Czech Airlines mco or mpd shall be issued. if siblings travel together on the same flight and same class of travel, the charge is collected per one of them only. age of passenger at the date of beginning of travel is mandatory to determine age category for the whole trip.
• acceptance of umnr excluded in following cases:
  for all ground services operated by bus and on overnight transfers no umnr service will be accepted !
  

It is recommended to advice additionally the date of birth in the osi element of the pnr *os ok dob13may00.
Children under 5 years old travelling alone are not accepted !!!
The number of unaccompanied children allowed on board of a Czech Airlines flight depends on aircraft type and must not exceed:

• A310 12um (include max.2children under 8 years of age)
• A320/319 5um (include max.1child under 6 years of age)
• B734,B735 5um (include max.1child under 6 years of age)
• ATR72, ATR42 3um (include max.1child under 6 years of age)
