CSA Czech Airlines names new President

CSA Czech Airlines has appointed Mr. Radomir Lasak (40), a leading Czech businessman, as its new President . Mr Lasak has been a member of the CEZ board of directors which has been responsible for the integration of regional power distribution companies.

Before then he was a member of the crisis management team which successfully planned and subsequently carried out the privatisation of  Komercni Banka which he joined in 1991, becoming a director in 2000 and from the same year until 2004 he was head of eBanka that was transformed from an electronic bank into one that sold its products and services as a standard banking institution.

Of his new appointment, Mr Lasak said: ‘Our task is to make sure that CSA can stand up to the competition and that the airline has a strong strategy to pursue.’
